Finally, TDP is out of the race in Telangana!!

The TDP has finally announced that it is out of the electoral race in Telangana, which is going to polls next month. The party leadership has told the leaders from Telangana that it cannot contest in the upcoming elections in Telangana. This was conveyed to TDP Telangana president and former MLC Kasani Gyaneshwar by no less a person than Lokesh himself.

The Telangana TDP leaders, who were preparing for the elections, recently met Chandrababu Naidu, now lodged in Rajahmundry jail. However, Chandrababu reportedly told them to get in touch with national general secretary Lokesh Babu. But, Lokesh not only did not attend the T TDP meet scheduled on Sunday, but also sent a letter saying that the party was in no position to contest the elections in Telangana.

This decision of the party leadership has left the TDP leaders from Telangana shocked and sullen. At least some candidates were making serious efforts to contest the elections this time. But, the latest decision has literally poured cold water on their plans. This has left the party leadership angry.

If sources are to be believed, at least some TDP leaders are planning to enter the election fray as independence. They feel that they have been ditched by Chandrababu for his own benefit. They feel that the TDP is hand-in-glove with the Congress Party in Telangana and is trying to help the Congress in the election.
