The US Presidential elections are not short of any thriller given the big twists and turns in the episode. In what could be a bigger twist so far serving President Joe Biden stepped down from the race. He said that he decided to stay away from the race. This made the election episode even more interesting.

Joe Biden endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the candidate for the election. While the party has yet to announce the candidate, a few reports say that Kamala Harris might have an edge over others as she is the Vice President and aggressively working for the party.

If this happens then we might see a Telugu vs Tamil battle. There is a reason for this. Kamala Harris is an Indian-origin lady and her mother is a Tamilian. Her connection with India also played a key role in Indian-Americans supporting her party in the last elections.

It is known that JD Vance is the Vice President candidate of the Republic party. Donald Trump announced his name at the meeting and since then everyone has been talking about him. There is a Telugu connection with the VP candidate.

His wife Usha Chilukuri is an Indian-origin lady. Her parents migrated to the US from India and she was born and brought up there. She comes from a Telugu family and after her husband’s candidacy the local media here tried to gather the details of her family.

JD Vance is in the race as he is the Vice President candidate. If Kamala Harris is also in the race then we might see a Telugu vs Tamil fight. This is the first time such a thing has happened in the US elections.

This is an example of the rise of Indian Americans. Earlier Rishi Sunak served as the UK Prime Minister and another Indian-origin MP is likely to replace him as the leader of the opposition. Coming to the US elections Indian Americans have a dilemma on whom to pick. Let us wait and see.
