The amount of negative criticism on the Hindu community in the United States has been on a rise in the recent past in view of the unfortunate incidents that have been happening. Here we have another one such incident that happened in Dallas.

In a shocking incident in Irving, Texas, a group of masked men sparked outrage after displaying banners with Hinduphobic messages targeting Hindu deities and festivals.

The signs carried hateful slogans such as Reject foreign demons, Don’t India my Texas, and Deport H-1B scammers, while depicting Hindu gods like Vishnu and Ganesha as demons.

The offensive act was reported by the X account Take Action Texas which had previously posted derogatory remarks against the Hindu community, calling Diwali a celebration of the demonic and labeling Hindu practices as demon worship.

The incident quickly drew condemnation from several community groups and social media users. The Coalition of Hindus of North America strongly denounced the act, urging authorities to take immediate action against those responsible and ensure the safety of Hindus in Texas.

They emphasized that such targeted hate undermines religious harmony and creates fear among minority communities.

This is not an isolated case, as similar acts of discrimination and bigotry against people of Indian origin have been reported in countries like the United States, Canada, Australia, and Ireland. The Texas episode highlights the growing need for stronger measures against hate speech and religious intolerance to maintain peace and respect among diverse communities.
