In the High Court Justice T Vinod Kumar has reviewed the petition and issued the interim orders to stay the demolition. The affidavit was filed by one Nalla Preetham Reddy who is the Manager of N Convention. He said that the petition is filed being aggrieved by the actions against N Convention.

The petitioner said that N Convention is a private limited company and it obtained a lease from Nagarjuna in 2009 and the deed was extended in 2015. The petitioner said at the time of the lease Tammidi Kunta tank was situated on the side of the bund and no water spread is found.

The petitioner also informed the court that back in 2014 the authorities threatened to demolish N Convention on the pretext that it is in the Full Tank Level of Tammidi Kunta without following the procedure under the law. Thereupon the owner filed a W.P, he added.
