Thalaiva Joins List Of Celebrities Honoured By BCCI!C

Team India is banking high on the Asia Cup win. The trophy came at the right moment, ahead of the 50-over World Cup event which will be hosted by India. After a gap of 12 long years, India is hosting the mega tournament. Arrangements are underway for the event. Fans are hoping that the long doubt about the ICC trophy will end.

Ahead of the tournament, the BCCI presented 'Golden Ticket' to Superstar Rajinikanth. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah went all the way to Chennai and presented the ticket to Thailavar.

Holding a Golden Ticket means they can visit the World Cup tournaments and enjoy the matches from the VIP gallery. As Rajinikanth is a popular face beyond the boundaries, the BCCI presented him with the ticket.

With this Rajinikanth became the third personality to get the honor. Earlier, the God Of Cricket Sachin Tendulkar, and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan were given the tickets. There is one thing common in them. They all are fans of the game. Rajinikanth supported the Indian team in the 2011 finals in the Wankhede Stadium.
