Alliance With NDA: What Thalapathy Vijay Said?

Last night, there were a series of speculations about the possibility of Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay joining the NDA alliance ahead of the Tamil Nadu election.

But cut to now, Vijay has made it clear that his party will not form an alliance with the National Democratic Alliance.

Sources from his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, said the party plans to contest upcoming elections independently and will not enter into any pre poll alliance with the NDA. The leadership believes that the party should build its own political path rather than aligning with national coalitions.

Vijay, who recently launched his political career, has been positioning his party as an alternative political force in Tamil Nadu. Party leaders say their focus will be on issues such as youth welfare, employment, education, and farmers’ concerns.

The announcement has sparked discussion in Tamil Nadu’s political circles. The state’s politics has long been dominated by the two major Dravidian parties, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam.
