Thalapathy Vijay Reacts on Karur Fiasco: What He Said?

Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay has been the focal point of Tamil political discussion for the last few days after the horrifying Karur stampede at his rally which killed 41 people. Incidentally, Vijay did not share his official reaction on this matter till now before releasing a video on social media today.

In his video message, Vijay stated “I have never faced such a painful situation in my life. I am in deep pain. Leaving aside all politics, we always request permission from the police for a safe place. But things that shouldn't have happened have happened.

I will soon meet the victims. I convey my deepest condolences to the family who are grieving due to the loss. My party functionaries have been arrested by the police.

Adding further, Vijay said “Chief Minister, sir, I request you please do not harm my party functionaries. You may come to my house or my office and take any action against me, but not against them. Soon, every truth will come out"

Vijay has publicly stated that he would come out to meet the victims soon and had already communicated that he would be providing them with financial assistance of ₹25 lakh as compensation.

However, there are already comments that Vijay has reacted to little too late on the crucial matter that could potentially decide his political future. People expected more comprehensive reaction from him in this case which had caught the attention all over already.
