Vijay Still Caught In Cinema Mode Even After CM?

Tamil cinema star Vijay Thalapathy has quickly emerged as one of the most successful politicians in the country as he became the chief minister of Tamil Nadu in his very first attempt. Now Vijay is doing something pretty with regard to the administrative duties as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, as he is out on a mission to eradicate corruption and deliver public welfare.

However, if you look at the speech that was delivered by Vijay at his recent public event in Trichy, it appears that he is still in cinema mode, other than the chief minister mode. Vijay said people don’t like if he wears a black suit as they say, it is reserved for higher class people. He said he is wearing a black and white suit to represent the positive colour terminology and ensure transparency.

Vijay, then added at the people of Tamil Nadu must have been a bit more welcoming for him as a better majority would have ensured smoother government. He was not disappointed by the election result, but was a bit optimistic about the outcome.

However, the crucial point of difference here is that Vijay appeared to carry a victim approach with his speech, which might have worked before the election, or if he had actually lost the election. But the fact is that Vijay has comfortably won the election, and he is the new chief minister of Tamil Nadu. So this victim card cannot be played by him at this point.

Many political experts are pointing out that Vijay must make sure that he carries the dignity of the chief minister position with a lot of care and stops using this cinema dialogues for his speeches.

But it must be noted that Vijay is one of the smartest individuals in South Indian cinema, and the kind of work that he had learn to become the CM is extraordinary. He is expected to change his way very quickly and do what is needed for the position.
