Konda Vishweshwar, Vijayasanthi too to leave BJP soon?

First it was Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy. Then it was the turn of former MP and media baron Gaddam Vivek. Next, who? This is the question that the BJP watchers are raising. Sources in the know say that former MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy and actress Vijayasanthi could be next in the line.

Several key Congress leaders, who had joined the BJP in the wake of its stupendous success in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, are now making a beeline to rejoin the Congress Party. Sources say that Vishweshwar Reddy is unhappy at Jana Sena being offered assembly tickets under his Tandur Loksabha constituency.

He is also said to be rooting for Ravi Yadav in Serilingampally constituency, while the BJP prefers its committed worker and industrialist Gajjala Yoganand. He is said to be in talks with the Congress already and his resignation from the BJP could come anytime soon. He could become the party candidate from Chevella.

Another disgruntled leader is Vijayasanthi. She is said to be deeply upset over the party ignoring her. Though she has been made the incharge of the agitational programmes, the party has not taken her into confidence on various things. She has of late been part of the BJP dissidents meets. Sources say that she too can leave the BJP and join the Congress Party soon.
