In a disgusting incident, a 33-year-old mother was arrested by the cops as she was accused of starving her son to death. The news broke out when the cops found the corpse of the small kid. She was sent to the custody later.

Going into details, Indian origin woman Priyanka who lives in North Carolina is said to be having disputes with her husband. Due to this, her husband is said to have left the house. The victim was left for a few days after death as his body was found in a decomposed state.

The shocking thing is that Priyanka herself dialled the emergency number saying that her son was not responding. The officers who acted on the call suffered a big shock as the boy was dead and his body decomposed. Reports say that the officers did not find any food in the house and suspect that the woman might have starved her son to death.

As part of the investigation, the cops reportedly found that she was not responding to the calls made by her relatives to talk to her. The requests to make the welfare checks were also denied by the accused reportedly.
