Trump Double Talk on India: What’s He Thinking?

The President of United States, Donald Trump is one of the most unpredictable personalities and people simply can’t project what would come out of his mouth next. Now he has come out strongly on India with multiple opinions and let’s have a look into the same.

All my life I've watched India. They just kept changing, changing, changing. Somebody would be there for six months and then a year and then all of a sudden, Prime Minister Modi ends up there.

He (Modi) has been there for more than 12 years, very solid. And he does it through, like, there's a great calmness, and yet he's not a calm person. He's a very tough guy. I know him very well, Trump said on this matter.

This was followed by another wild comment from Trump as he said India has the habit of ripping of the United States historically.

Modi is very good. He stays out of wars, which is smart. He’s 1.5 billion people. India’s actually the biggest. Modi’s a great leader, and we do a lot of business with them, but now we do fair business. They used to really rip us off.

I don’t blame them for that. We had stupid politicians that allowed that to happen. But now we do a lot of business. They’re not that happy about it. They used to do a lot better. But Modi’s great, he concluded on this matter now.It has to be seen how India would be reacting to this matter now, which has become a major cause of concern.
