Despite Trump Madness, H1B Approval Rate Is 97%!

United States president of Donald Trump is coming across as an insane nationalist, who is firmly against International immigration. However, the numbers are projecting a different story and let us have a look to the same.

Despite the strong measures from Donald Trump against the H1B visa, including 100 K dollar fee against this, the approval rates for this work permit visa are through the roof.

Trump’s H-1B visa approval rate in his second term is currently 97.6%, matching Biden’s first-year rate and sitting well above Trump’s first term (88.4%) and Obama’s average (94.5%).

At the current pace, Trump could end up approving more H-1B visas than during his first term, despite introducing a new $100,000 application fee in late 2025.

The fee does not apply to existing visa holders already in the US, and H-1B holders can still sponsor dependents. This has become a major factor contributing to the increased approval rate for H1B Visa and it has to be seen how Trump would deal with the same in the near future.

The volume of the Indian population travelling to the United States has also been going up sharply, and the work permit are also coming up rather easily.

This is very positive news for the Indian demographic in the United States while hardcore Trump supporters might be confused about the disparity in the numbers.
