Indians In New York Beware: Trump is Coming!

It is already known that New York is one of the major destinations for the Indian community in the United States as it offers the best in class living conditions and Metropolitan city centres.

However, the latest developments are suggesting that New York has come under the radar of the United States president, Donald Trump and there could be pretty strong consequences.

Apparently, the Donald Trump administration is preparing for a round of ICE rides across New York City before the start of the FIFA World Cup 2026. This is a massive and immigration drive that was initiated by Donald Trump where dedicated teams should be scanning the streets and stopping individuals while asking for IDs.

Earlier, this program was badly criticised in states like Minneapolis and Dallas, which directly affected many Indians who are staying there.

Now this program is being extended to the Metro city of New York and essentially mean that the Indian population staying in the city and also all across New York state must be extremely careful of the consequences.

These teams will be independently, verifying the ID proof of the immigration population, and any kind of abnormality can lead to severe consequences, including deportation.

So it is advised that the Indian community in New York must be extremely careful about their stay as any kind of altercation with the ICE agents could lead to tough penalties.
