The Trump Tornado: 55 Million Visa Holders Beware!

The President of United States, Donald Trump is one of the most problematic and litigative personalities in the world. In accordance with this, his second term as the President of United States has been met with intense scrutiny and vetting of visa holders.

The Trump administration has started a massive review of all 55 million people who currently hold U.S. visas. This means that every type of vis students, workers, tourists, and others will now be under continuous checking.

Officials will look for violations such as overstaying a visa, criminal activity, threats to public safety, or links to terrorism. If any violation is found, the visa can be cancelled immediately, and if the person is already in the U.S., they may face deportation.

Since Trump returned to office, the government has already doubled the number of visa cancellations compared to last year. Student visas have been hit the hardest, with more than 6,000 revoked in recent months.

Out of these, around 200 to 300 cases were connected to terrorism-related concerns. The checks are not only limited to official records but also include monitoring social media activity and background information from applicants’ home countries.

At the same time, Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced a halt on new worker visas for commercial truck drivers, saying it protects jobs for Americans. It is evident that Trump is going all out against the immigration policies and is leaving no stone unturned to impose his hard measures.
