Finally: Good Movement From TTD on Donors: What Are New Gifts?

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Board has been largely enhancing their activities for the last few weeks. The board has now decided a new set of regulations for the list of donors who donate significant amount of money to the Devasthanam.

The new list of amenities and perks that big dollar will be getting at Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam has been released and it is some positive news for the pilgrims.

TTD Introduces 4 New Donor Categories & Gifts which include ₹1L to ₹5L - 5 to 10 small laddus, silk dupatta, blouse piece. ₹10L to ₹25L - 15 small laddus, silk dupatta, blouse piece

₹50L to ₹75L - 15 to 20 small laddus, 5 to 7 large laddus, silk clothing, 2 gram gold dollar, 10 gram silver coin

₹1 Crore & Above - 20 to 30 small laddus, 10 to 20 large laddus, silk clothing, 2 gram gold dollar, 10 gram silver coin

The fundamental point to be noted, here is Laddu and clothing are annual gifts while 2g gold dollar and 10g silver coin are one time gifts.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam receives crores in donations every year, and there has been constant pressure from donors to increase the immunities that they would be getting. So it is good to see the TTD board, finally, act on this message and change the set of amenities that significant donations should be getting.

While the larger section of the common public would fall under the first category of donations from ₹1,00,000 to ₹5,00,000, they would be getting adequate respect and recognition as well.

Apart from this, the TTD board had already revamped the Darshan procedures at the temple, which includes short queue lines and resumed the supply of food items at the waiting halls to cater to the pilgrims.
