People are talking about Andhra Pradesh even after the elections as the post-poll violence gripped a few areas. Police personnel were deployed in huge numbers as a safety measure. The concerned authorities are putting in their best efforts to keep the situation under control.

Palnadu is one of the sensitive areas in the state which is in the news for the wrong reason. Post-poll violence is raising many eyeballs. A few tense scenes were reported with supporters of both sides indulging in clashes.

The impact of the violence was such that Section 144 was imposed in Palnadu as a safety measure. As many as 2000 Police personnel were deployed in various areas in the state to see that the situation comes under control.

On the other hand, two ruling party MLAs were placed under house arrest. Gurazala YSRCP MLA Kasu Mahesh Reddy and Macharla MLA Pinnnelli Ramakrishna Reddy were reportedly placed under house arrest. Security was deployed in big numbers.

The District authorities imposed section 144 in the sensitive areas as a safety measure. The authorities asked everyone to follow the rules and not break them. Supporters of both sides had ugly clashes in many areas.

It is known that the alliance candidate from Chandragiri constituency Puliverti Nani was attacked at the Padmavati Mahila University in Tirupati. A mob carried out the attack. MLA candidate and others sustained injuries in this.

Violent incidents broke out in Palnadu, Macherla, Karempudi and others. In some places, TDP party offices were reportedly attacked. It is a shock that the state is witnessing post-poll violence.
