U19 England Players, Staff Visit Vijayawada Durga temple!
Ahead of the final, the team members and the supporting staff of the England Under-19 cricket team visited the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy in the temple city of Vijayawada.

Ahead of the final, the team members and the supporting staff of the England Under-19 cricket team visited the Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy in the temple city of Vijayawada. They visited the temple and offered prayers to the deity.
The players and staff received a big welcome at the temple. Priests traditionally welcomed the players by placing Tilak on their foreheads and were offered clothes. They were also presented with a photo of the Goddess.
The VIP guests posed together for a picture in front of the temple with the photo that was presented to them. They wore the silk robes that were presented to them. These pictures are now doing rounds on social media.
The team members and staff members were introduced to the rich architecture and the culture here. They were also introduced to the history of the temple and stories of the deity. It was a special experience for the players to visit the famous temple and offer prayers at the temple.
