The government has been closely monitoring digital platforms and warned that strict action will be taken against anyone who shares fake news, fabricated videos, or misleading information. Authorities also urged residents to verify information before posting or forwarding it on social media.

Those arrested have been referred for further legal proceedings. The incident highlights the strict enforcement of cyber laws in the UAE, where spreading misinformation online can lead to heavy penalties, including fines and imprisonment.
