India is a country that is not like others. Ours is the only nation that sees different religions being followed. People from various beliefs live peacefully in harmony. Even celebrities in the country celebrate various festivals to set an example of secularism. However, we are seeing unwanted developments over the years.

Of late we have been seeing leaders making controversial comments on the religions and beliefs. These developments are not called for when people are living happily. But a few try to make political gains with these statements.

Joining the row, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin's son Udhayanidhi Stalin, who is a Cabinet Minister made some objectionable comments against the Sanatana Dharma. The CM's son compared Sanatana Dharma to diseased and called for its eradication.

The issue is getting bigger and bigger. People who are cruising Udhayanidhi Stalin are increasing. The opposition parties already distanced themselves from the comments. The Hindu organizations are breathing fire on the Cabinet Minister for his controversial comments.

Now Udhayanidhi Stalin attracted a big problem in this regard as more than 200 eminent personalities including a few former judges have written to the Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud. In the letter, they expressed severe dissatisfaction with the comments made by Stalin and sought a suo motu action against him.

Having condemned the comments, the personalities said that the comments made by the Chief Minister's son left many in anguish and the followers of Sanatan Dharma are not happy with what happened.

Every time eminent personalities had written to the Supreme Court, the top court took cognizance of it and there are high chances of the Apex Court taking suo motu action. If this happens, then the Cabinet Minister might land in a big problem. Let us wait and see what happens next.
