UK: Cop's Actions Raise Big Question On Secrecy of Evidence!

Anywhere in the world, the Police department has certain duties. They are meant to protect the people and take care of the investigation of cases. However, a few incidents raise questions about the credibility of the positions. This is not a good trend no matter what.

George Floyd is a big example of this. A cop’s objectionable behavior towards him led to his death and a big debate was held on racism in the United States. The whole world came under one roof to support the fight seeking justice.

Now what a British police officer did became the talk of the town and raised questions on the credibility. Usually, the details in the cases are very confidential and they are not meant to be shared with anyone. Even they are not shared with the media. But an officer reportedly shared the details with his wife and friend.

It is known that earlier last year Indian-origin girl Grace O’Malley Kumar and her friend Barnaby Weber were killed. The case created a big sensation back then as the girl in the case was just a teenager.

At a time when the families are fighting for justice, a Police Constable is said to have shared the case details with others. A Police Constable reportedly shared pictures concerning the case on WhatsApp. The officer is said to have received a warning for this.

The families took a strong objection to this and asked if this was the way to deal with any case. It is said that they met British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak on the issue to take what had happened to his notice.
