WTH India! Situationships Dominating Marriage?

India was a country where relationships, and marriages are traditionally held in the highest position in the civil Society. But that is not even remotely the case these days as the youth are completely in a different track.

The current trend in the relationship status is such that the youth of the country is more interested in situationships and extra marital affairs, rather than the very concept of marriage.

Apparently, several married couples across the country, living in urban pockets are indulging in such activities. 34 year old IT employee who had been married for six years had commented that her husband does not offer beyond basic daily needs communication, and that is the reason why she has decided to explore elsewhere.

There are multiple other individuals who are commenting that they marriage partners are nothing but just verbal exchanges for daily needs and nothing more. They are instead searching for something instantaneous, and exciting through other partners, even after marriage.

This is common with many urban couples these days as both husband and wife are independently searching for other alternatives to get their physical needs met.

This has become a new problem for the entire Indian civil society as such activities will not just ruin in the fabric of marriage, but also lead to extra marital birth dates which is never a good thing for the society in the first place.
