Breaking: US Confirms Direct Energy Weapons, What Next?

In what could be considered an extremely huge announcement from the United States department of war it has been established that the country indeed has direct energy weapons in its arsenal.

Directed energy weapons, often called DEWs, are advanced military systems that use focused energy instead of bullets or explosives to stop or damage targets. This energy can come in the form of high power lasers or microwave beams.

These weapons can hit targets at the speed of light and are designed to disable drones, missiles, aircraft sensors, or electronic systems with high precision.

Recent developments show that major global powers are rapidly expanding work on these technologies. The United States military continues to test and deploy laser based systems on naval ships and ground platforms, mainly to counter the growing threat from drones and low cost aerial attacks.

High energy laser systems are being integrated into future warships, while microwave weapons are being explored to disrupt enemy electronics without causing physical destruction.

Other countries are also moving fast. India has revealed new microwave based systems to neutralize unmanned aerial vehicles, and European nations are collaborating on naval laser defense projects.

Directed energy weapons are seen as cost effective because each shot requires only electricity, not expensive ammunition. As modern warfare evolves, DEWs are expected to play a major role in air defense and electronic warfare.
