1 H1B Visa Holder Equal To 10 Illegal Immigrants: US CEO’s shocker
It appears that the United States of America has taken a strong stand against international population.

A recent discussion on a US political show triggered strong reactions after pollster Mark Mitchell claimed that removing one H1B software developer from the workforce would have the same economic effect as deporting ten undocumented workers.
Speaking on Steve Bannon’s War Room, Mitchell argued that American tech companies depend too heavily on foreign talent, especially from India, and accused major firms of hiring H1B professionals as cheaper labor instead of prioritising local workers.
He went as far as suggesting that American companies should be “de-Indianised”, a comment that sparked widespread criticism for being insensitive and misleading.
Mitchell’s comparison created controversy because it places legal high-skilled workers and undocumented immigrants in the same frame, even though their economic roles are vastly different.
H1B professionals are legally employed in specialised fields like technology, engineering and research, and many industry studies show that they fill critical skill shortages and contribute to innovation and business growth. Economists widely reject the idea that their presence harms the American workforce on such a dramatic scale.
His remarks come at a time when the H1B programme is already under pressure due to rising fees and stricter scrutiny. The debate highlights the increasingly political tone surrounding immigration and skilled foreign workers in the US.
