The gruesome murder of Telugu guy named Chandra in Dallas, United States has become a topic of discussion across the globe. There are several protests and calls for repercussion on this matter.

The shocking murder in Dallas, Texas, has drawn attention in the U.S. and India. Chandra Nagamallaiah, an Indian national, was brutally killed at a motel where he was staying.

Police say the suspect, Yordanis Cobos-Martinez, a 37-year-old man from Cuba, attacked Chandra with a machete, decapitated him, and placed his head in a trash bin. Witnesses claim the suspect even kicked the head around, showing extreme violence.

Martinez has been charged with capital murder and is currently held in Dallas County Jail. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has started the process to deport him. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has also placed a detainer to ensure he is not released.

Officials revealed Martinez has a violent criminal record, including cases of child sex abuse, carjacking, and false imprisonment. Earlier this year, under the Biden administration, he had been released under supervision because Cuba refused to take him back. Now, Trump’s DHS is pushing for his removal.

The Indian community is shocked by the incident, and U.S. leaders have strongly condemned the brutal killing.
