Senseless Hate: US Senator’s Venom On Indian Visa God?

By: Tupaki Desk | 15 May 2026 11:03 AM ISTIt is already known that the larger section of Indian population had been travelling to the United States for better employment opportunities and living conditions. But this is being welcomed with hostility from the United States authorities.
Now it is the return of United States, Senator Eric Schmidt to make such a wild comment on the visa culture in India. US Senator Eric Schmitt claims Indian visa applicants are sharing confidential US visa interview questions among themselves, turning the system into what he calls a "visa cartel" involving networks, resume fraud & ethnic favoritism.
He witnessed an Indian hiring network at Google where once one Indian was hired, others in the group would share confidential interview questions to help fellow Indians clear interviews. This was followed by an inappropriate comment against the famous ChilkurBalaji Temple in Hyderabad, which is widely regarded as the Visa Temple. He said this is against the talent oriented program that is implemented by the United States.
It is natural for the United States Senator to have his own opinion on the visa program, but there was no need to bring up the name of the famous Balaji Temple in Hyderabad and deride the same. One of the main reasons why the United States has been hiring the Indian talent is a good working environment and the talent here. Under the same time, it is natural for the Indian people to have their own belief systems. But the US Senator, making such an atrocious comment on the Indian population is not to be taken lightly.
