Now this social media verification procedure is being applied to I, TN and TD visa policies which are related to Media representatives and other agencies. United States is changing the mechanism with regard to the social media profiles of these individuals.

The United States, today, is beginning screening the social media accounts of foreign journalists and other media representatives applying for visas to enter the country.

This would essentially mean that all the social media profiles of these individuals must be kept public and accessible to everyone. During the time of the Visa interview, the entire profile will be verified by the immigration authorities.

If the immigration officer find something against the nature or completely against the belief system of the United States, then the applicant could be rejected the United States visa.

This is one of the most dominant procedures that is going to be implemented by the immigration authorities in the country, but sadly that is the reality under the Trump administration.
