Driving Car Too Fast In USA? Be Ready To Lose Visa?
Now the government is putting more efforts to restrict the financial flow for international students, and also make their visa application process that much harder.
By: Tupaki Desk | 8 April 2025 5:19 PMThe Donald J Trump administration in the United States had already started with its assertive measures when it comes to revoking part-time culture amongst the Indian community. Now the government is putting more efforts to restrict the financial flow for international students, and also make their visa application process that much harder.
The same can be understood if we look at the latest reports about how the local authorities are revoking visas, even based on traffic tickets. Shockingly, there are cases of visas getting revoked after people got caught speeding in their cars.
The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has reportedly begun revoking student visas for international students, even for minor offences such as traffic violations.
According to reports, students from top universities like Harvard, Stanford, UCLA, Michigan, and Ohio State have faced sudden visa cancellations without any prior notice. Legal experts note that this is an unusual move, as minor violations like speeding tickets have traditionally not been considered grounds for such strict action.
In several cases, students were unaware that their visas had been revoked until they were stopped by immigration officers or during travel. The affected students are facing legal uncertainty and disruptions to their education.
University officials and immigration attorneys are now urging students to be extremely cautious, even with seemingly small infractions, as the current immigration policies appear to be less forgiving than in the past. This change has sparked concern among the international student community across the U.S.
It appears that the government of United States is on a mission to find new ways to revoke the visas for international students.
