US Wants To Do Away Multiple Checks For Indians!

India is emerging as a soft power giant. Over the years India’s importance has been growing. The United States in particular is giving special treatment to India on many issues like increasing the Visa caps and increasing the staff at the Consulates for an easy process.

Now another one might join the row. If everything goes well we might see the scrapping of Additional Security Checks For Indians in the United States. To offer hassle hassle-free journey a proposal was made by Administrator of the Transportation Security Administration David Pekoske.

At the India-US Aviation Summit, David Pekoske placed his proposal of a "one-stop agreement" with India. Under the concept Indians and their luggage can get away with multiple checkups. In the case of connecting flights, checkups and screenings would be done again. With the concept, the process would be eased.

He said that the agreement not only raises the aviation security standards but also increases the safety of travel. During the address, he said that both nations should work together by sharing their ideas and views on this.

America became the destination of Indians. Over the years the number of Indians visiting or moving to America had picked up massively. If the new proposal is implemented then it would help the Indians. Let us hope that the agreement applies soon.
