We have historically seen many sensational records in world cricket, but none of them come close to the historic 175 runs innings from Chris Gayle in IPL.
This is the highest registered score in any mainstream T20 league across the globe as Gayle created absolute history back in the day by scoring 175 runs against Pune team in the IPL.
Even a decade after this record, that was originally said by Chris Gayle, there is no one who was able to break it till now, and this is a story in itself.
Now talented youngster, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has spoken out about the same as he commented that he would really wish to break this record that was said by Chris Gayle in the first place.
16 year old youngster Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is creating absolute history in IPL on behalf of the Rajasthan Royal team has commented that he wishes to be the first player to score a double century in T20 format.
He confidently said he would really like to score a double century in an IPL game or any other T20 game for that matter, and wants to create history by becoming the first player to do so as well.
Considering the explosive nature of the batting style of Vaibhav, he is already able to score hundred runs within 40 balls and it should not be too much of a surprise if he actually scores a double hundred.
