Shocking News: 1 Lakh People Dead In Big Earthquake!

Earthquakes happened to be one of the most destructive forces of nature and their annually kill several lacks of people across the globe. A similar scenario has come up in Venezuela with thousands of people fear to be dead due to a massive earthquake that has hit the country.

Venezuela has been hit by a couple of earthquakes, which have created a massive property and human life disruption of the highest order. The US Geological Survey (USGS) said the first earthquake had a magnitude of 7.1 and its epicentre was west of the community of Morón, located along the country’s Caribbean coast, about 168 kilometres west of Caracas.

The USGS reported an even larger 7.5-magnitude earthquake just a minute later. The second quake had a depth of 10 kilometres and its epicentre was 16 kilometres into the west. Venezuela was struck by two powerful earthquakes within a minute on Wednesday evening with the United States Geological Survey warning that the disaster could claim between 10,000 and 100,000 lives.

The fact that this single earthquake series of events could single-handedly claim over one lakh lives is as shocking as it can get, but now we have to wait for the official news on the number.

Considering the property damage that has been done, the number of casualties could be going up based on the recovery activities. For now, all we can do is hope and pray that the people of the Venezuela can come out from this natural disaster.
