It is being established primarily that the leading company is also projected to fire as many as 20,000 jobs if that is what it takes.

According to a few Wall Street Journal reports, Verizon is preparing to eliminate as many as 20,000 jobs and convert about 180 to 200 stores into franchises, marking one of the largest workforce reductions in its history, according to sources.

It could turn out to be that this leading mobile network manufacturer could be losing on 15 to 20% of its global workforce, which is a huge deal considering the current job market.
