The central bureau of investigation has started to investigate Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay in connection with the earlier Karur stampede which claimed 41 lives at his rally. Now let us have a look at the latest update that is provided by Vijay’s political party.

TVK leader Nirmal Kumar has stated that there will be no further questioning of party chief Vijay in connection with the Karur case, putting an end to speculation surrounding the matter. Addressing the media, Kumar said the clarification was based on information shared by Central Bureau of Investigation officials themselves.

He explained that Vijay had already been examined by the CBI over two separate days, January 12 and January 19. According to Kumar, the questioning was detailed and covered all aspects the investigators wanted to clarify. He stressed that the agency is satisfied with the responses given and has not indicated any need for additional summons.

Nirmal Kumar also strongly rejected rumours circulating on social media and in some sections of the public discourse about Vijay’s possible arrest. He termed these claims as completely false and misleading. He further dismissed talk of a charge sheet being prepared against Vijay, saying there is no such development in the case at present.

The TVK leader accused certain groups of deliberately spreading misinformation to create confusion and damage the party’s image. He urged people not to believe unverified reports and said the party remains confident that the truth will come out.

Kumar reiterated that Vijay has cooperated fully with the investigation and has nothing to hide. He added that TVK will continue its political activities as planned and will not be distracted by baseless rumours.
