Tamil Nadu Assembly elections are currently unfolding and they are painting a very interesting picture as Thalapathy Vijay is leading the chief minister race.

According to the election numbers that are starting to come out starting from eight in the morning today, it is Vijay’s TVK, which is ahead of the other two parties.

Currently, TVK is leading in nearly 80 constituencies across Tamil Nadu. This is a sensationally good number for a party that is contesting in its first ever election campaign.

The DMK and AIDMK are confined to less than 60 Assembly seats across Tamil Nadu, which will keep them in second and third positions respectively.

Thalapathy Vijay is putting on a sensationally good performance in the Tamil Nadu assembly election, and if this momentum is continued by his TK party, then he could very well become the new chief minister of Tamil Nadu.

It must be truly sensational to watch a cinema, superstar, launch his own political party and become the chief minister in the first ever campaign. Something like this had happened only with senior NTR in Andhra Pradesh earlier, and now we could be witnessing Vijay repeating in Tamil Nadu.

Coming to West Bengal, we have the case of Trinamool Congress, which is slightly ahead of the BJP by leading in 133 seats as opposed to the 107 of BJP.
