YSR Jayanthi: Jagan, Vijayamma and Sharmila At Idupulapaya!

Today marks the birth anniversary of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YSR. The veteran Congress leader left an unmatched legacy behind him. All roads lead to Idupulapaya where YSR’s Ghat is located to pay tributes to the mass leader who worked hard for the betterment of the poor in the state.

Former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy visited the YSR ghat. It was an emotional moment as Jagan’s mother Vijayamma fondly hugged Jagan. His wife and other family members were also present on the occasion.

Another reason is that this is the first meeting between the mother and son. Vijayamma went abroad ahead of the elections seeing siblings as the opponents. YS Sharmila said that everyone should respect her decision.

Seeing her son after a long time Vijayamma became emotional. Vijayamma fondly hugged him. The family performed special prayers on the occasion at the YSR ghat. YS Sharmila also reached the Ghat to pay tributes to her father.

However, Sharmila paid tributes to her father after Jagan left. Sharmila went there with her husband, son, and daughter-in-law. Vijayamma and Sharmila’s family paid tributes.
