Election Time: Vijayamma’s Sensational Decision?

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy wants to record another big election win and make it two wins in a row. In 2019, his party won as many as 151 seats and this time he has a bigger goal. He wants to win all the 175 seats if possible. The party is going aggressive in the campaign with Jagan hitting the road himself.

Amid this, his mother Vijayamma is said to have taken a big decision and went abroad reportedly. It is said that she might not return until the elections are done and the results are announced. There is a big reason behind this.

When Jagan left the Congress and floated his YSRCP, Vijayamma and Sharmila stood by him and worked for the party. They were also present in the meetings held by Jagan. When Jagan was arrested Sharmila carried the party and continued the Yatras started by Jagan.

But things took a big turn with alleged rifts. When Sharmila entered Telangana politics, YCP distanced itself from this and Sharmila gave a strong counter to this. Adding fuel to this, Sharmila merged her party into the Congress party and she was made the AP PCC Chief.

In a shocking turn of events, Sharmila and Jagan became political opponents. Sharmila is gearing up for the first elections from Kadapa and she will take on her cousin Avinash Reddy, the sitting MP.

When Sharmila entered Telangana politics Vijayamma was with her and even campaigned for her. With this, many wanted to see whom Vijayamma would support between Jagan and Sharmila.

However, Vijayamma is said to be of the opinion that it is not good to have such a situation. If she supports one, the other one might get affected by the opponents targeting them.

It is said that both sides want Vijayamma to campaign for them in the elections. But YSR's widow is in a tough spot where she cannot pick one. With this, she reportedly left abroad and she might be there till the results are out.

Once the results are out, Vijayamma might come back and it doesn't make any difference who she supports. When she supported Sharmila, she said that her daughter needed her support more and she took the decision. She might do the same after the polls and might support whoever need her support more.
