Villagers Send Back MLA Over Developmental Works

BRS candidate from Rajenderanagar in the GHMC area and sitting MLA Prakash Goud had to face the wrath of the people when he went out to campaign for himself in the constituency. At several places, voters, especially, woman voters, took him to task for not caring to visit their areas and solve their long-standing problems.

The locals stopped the MLA and his entourage when they entered into Rashidpally village in Shamshabad mandal. They questioned him over the non-implementation of several developmental programmes and asked him about the bad civic conditions. They demanded that the MLA go back from their village.

Prakash Goud was stopped in Vattinagulapalli village of Gandipet mandal too on Friday. The people sought to know why he has not bothered to visit their village all these years. They asked him why he ignored the village for the past 15 years. Goud has been the MLA for the past 15 years, once as the TDP candidate and then as the BRS candidate.

In Rashidpally, the MLC candidate lost his cool and began abusing the locals. This further enraged the villagers,who forced him to leave the village forthwith. Similar incidents were reported in Miryalguda and other constituencies too where the ruling BRS candidates were turned away.
