Not Leaving YCP: MLA Clears All Rumours!

Whenever a party comes to power it is common for the leaders from the opposition parties to show interest in joining it. Talking about Andhra Pradesh the alliance recorded a massive win and YCP managed to win just 11 seats. The leaders are giving their reaction to the defeat one after the other.

There is an opinion that the YCP MLAs are looking at the TDP. We have seen the same scenes in 2014 and 2019. YCP MLAs joined the TDP after the 2014 win and the same happened with the TDP MLAs after the 2019 win.

There is a big buzz that Alur YCP MLA B Virupakshi is looking at taking the TDP route. A few reports said the same. Amid this, the YCP MLA reacted to the issue and rubbished the reports. He said that there is no truth behind the reports of him switching sides.

The MLA said that he would stand with Jagan and urged everyone to not believe such reports. He also asked how he could join the TDP having won the elections on a YCP ticket. Jagan trusted me and I would be in the opposition, he said.

The opposition leader went on to say how he could join the TDP party when he won on a YCP ticket. I am not leaving the YCP. I joined the YCP party looking at the efforts Jagan is putting in to achieve YSR’s dreams. There is no chance of leaving the party, breaking Jagan's trust in me. I would fight in the opposition. Don't trust the reports, he said.
