Vizag Ignores YCP Completely: Big Let Down!

It is a known fact that YCP has a special love for Vizag. The party wanted to make it the executive capital and shift the CM Office. If not for the court issued the party might have done it. YS Jagan even invited the investors to Vizag.

Despite the YCP preferring the Vizag region, voters ignored the party. There has been a big drop in YCP’s performance in the region compared to the previous elections.Out of the 15 seats in Vizag, YCP won 11 seats in 2019. This time it is leading in just two seats. With this we can imagine the mood of the voters.

As another example of the special interest the YCP had in Vizag, the party earlier said that Jagan will take oath as the CM in the city this time. The date was also fixed for this.

On many occasions the YCP leaders said that Vizag would be developed into an international destination on par with other metro cities.

Jagan also said that as Vizag is a developed region it takes only less amount to increase the infrastructure compared to other cities.If everything has gone in YCP’s way Vizag might be developed.

Despite this, people in Vizag did not trust the YCP and we are seeing this in the trends. Leading in just two seats is not a good sign for the party. The alliance is having a dominating show in the state that YCP is washed out in the majority of regions.
