Tadipatri Municipal Chairman JC Prabhakar Reddy fell ill and was admitted to hospital. As per the information shared by the popular news website Eenadu, he fell ill when tear gas was used to clear the crowds in Tadipatri due to the intense post-poll violence.

It is said that the tear gas used by the Cops to clear the crowds had an impact on JC and he reportedly developed a lung injection. He was reportedly shifted to a private hospital in Hyderabad and he is under treatment. More details are awaited.,

It is known that post-poll violence gripped Andhra Pradesh and a few tense scenes were reported. To bring the situation under control, 144 section was also imposed and a few MLAs were kept under house arrest.
