What Troubles Sharmila Will Face In Her Maiden Elections?

Sharmila comes from the illustrious YS family which is based out of the Kadapa region. Despite this, the family gave two Chief Ministers to the state. While Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy served as the Chief Minister of the combined state, his son Jagan is serving as the Chief Minister of the divided state.

Despite her legacy, she did not face the elections. But she is all set to face her first elections. It is known that she is the state chief of Congress. It is being said that Sharmila would be the Kadapa MP candidate for the Congress party and she will lock horns with her cousin Avinash Reddy.

With this, we would get to see the YS family members facing each other in elections after a long time. With this, all eyes are on her first elections and the challenges she would face.

Kadapa region is the strong fortress of the YSRCP. Not just the MP segment. But the MLA segments under the MP seat are also the strong zone of the party. Tasting success there is not an easy task.

Badvel, Kadapa, Pulivendula, Kamalapuram, Jammalamadugu, Proddatur, and Mydukur are the MLA segments. The Kadapa MP segment has been dominated by the YS family. YSR,Vivekananda Reddy, Jagan and Anivash won the seat.

Wooing the voters in the region is not going to be an easy task for Sharmila. If she can leave an impression on them then she can taste success and record her maiden win. If not her political future would be in question.

Avinash Feddy is facing allegations in the Viveka case. His daughter Sunitha is also targeting Avinash. Sunitha earlier met Sharmila and this started a debate that Sunitha might support Sharmila and even campaign for her.

The political observers say that the Viveka case would be at the centre. If Sharmila can highlight the issue then it would be her success. Or else she might start her political career with a defeat. This is her first election and all eyes are on the polls.
