It is known that the Asian population is quite high in the United States and the population can be a deciding factor in some states. Now the focus went on to them.
Out of Asians, Indian-Americans are getting a lot of attention to see whom they would support. If we look at the last elections observers say that they supported Joe Biden due to the anti image of the promises made by Donald Trump like preferring locals in jobs.
Cut to 2024 it appears that things have changed and they might support Donald Trump. Earlier a study said that support for Joe Biden among Indians slipped while the support increased slightly for Donald Trump.
Earlier Donald Trump said that he would work on giving automatic green cards to foreign students after graduation. This promise is said to have increased his image among the community.
On the other hand, Joe Biden is facing criticism over his age after the Presidential debate. Indians and Asians who stood by him before the last elections due to fear of Donald Trump coming back to power are said to be looking at other options, Donald Trump.
It is known that gun violence is increasing rapidly in the country and we are hearing more and more incidents about this. There is a criticism that the Joe Biden administration did not do much to address the issue and this factor also played a key role in Indian Americans reportedly losing trust in him.
