What Now! C*ndom Shortage At Olympics!
According to reports, the initial stock of 10,000 c*ndoms provided for athletes was completely used up within just three days.
By: Tupaki Desk | 14 Feb 2026 12:24 PM ISTIt is already known that it is a famous tradition and practice for the supporting community to provide athletes at the Olympics with adequate protection. Subsequently, several thousands of c*ndoms are distributed to athletes every season.
A rather unexpected issue has become a hot topic at the Winter Olympics being held in Italy. While athletes are competing fiercely for medals, conversations inside the Games Village are reportedly centered on something entirely different, a shortage of c*ndoms.
According to reports, the initial stock of 10,000 c*ndoms provided for athletes was completely used up within just three days. With nearly 2,900 athletes from around 90 countries staying in the Olympic Village, the organizers seem to have underestimated the demand. As a result, officials are now rushing to arrange additional supplies to meet the unexpected surge.
C*ndom distribution at the Olympics is a long standing health and safety measure aimed at promoting responsible behavior and preventing sexually transmitted infections. It is not unusual for large quantities to be made available at such global sporting events, where thousands of young athletes stay together for weeks.
Observers have responded with humor, joking that the winter chill may have increased the need for warmth in other ways. In comparison, past editions such as the Paris Olympics reportedly distributed condoms in much larger numbers without facing shortages.
This time, however, the stock seems to have run out faster than expected, turning an ordinary precautionary measure into a widely discussed talking point. The beautiful locations of Italy, and the subsequent weather conditions have shown an effect here and that is evident.
