AP Polls: Higher Women Votes A Good Sign For YSRCP?

The much-awaited elections were held recently in Andhra Pradesh. The polling received a terrific response from the voters as the highest polling percent was recorded. In some areas, the voting lasted till late hours while a few booths saw voting till midnight. This speaks volumes about the interest people had in voting.

As the final numbers are out, interesting details are coming out. Women voters are more this time as around 1,69,08,684 voted this time. This is more than the men voters. With this, a big discussion is going on about who would get benefited.

As per the media reports, the YCP is reportedly happy with the voting pattern as the women vote bank is very strong for the ruling party. Jagan often addresses women as sisters and the schemes under Navaratnalu are beneficial to women.

Be it House pattas or houses they are given to women. This makes the vote bank strong for YCP. There are no reasons for women to oppose YCP as the welfare schemes are being implemented. Women candidates were made Cabinet Ministers as well.

With this, women are said to have voted for the ruling YCP in big numbers making them a strong vote bank. The YCP supporters are saying that the rise in women voters indicates that women supported the YCP in the voting and it would record a big win.
