The opposition parties in the country are adamant to not leave the Bharatiya Janata Party led Centre on the burning Manipur issue. The opposition parties gave a no confidence motion against the government to the Lok Sabha speaker. A time to vote on this would be announced soon after consulting the other parties.

It is known that the opposition parties which are against the Bharatiya Janata Party came under one roof and formed an alliance named I.N.D.I.A (Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance). As a big step in the fight against the mighty BJP, the no confidence motion was tabled which was accepted by the Speaker.

Ever since the debate of the no confidence motion was started the focus moved on to the parties which are not part of either INDIA or the NDA to see what would be their stand on the motion.

The ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh is one such party. Now it is said that YSRCP would indirectly support the Modi government on the no confidence motion as per the reports.

If we have to take anything from the media reports then the YSRCP will not be a part of the voting and will avoid the voting. This is like indirectly supporting the Narendra Modi government.

The YCP has a strength of 23 MPs in the Parliament. Despite this the party reportedly decided to not take part in the voting.

Technically YCP is not an ally of BJP. But the party extends its support to the BJP whenever it is needed. Everytime BJP tables any bill, YCP supports it. YCP has been in the good books of the BJP and it looks like the party wants to continue the same.
