The New Zealand team is in the fourth place in the World Cup table. With back-to-back wins, the Kiwis team is very close to the semis spot. If the team records two more wins then the team would reach the semis stage easily. Given its performance, it would be not a tough task for the team.

Young player Rachin Ravindra played a big role in this. The talented batsman already scored three centuries and added multiple records to his name. He even broke the record held by Indian legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar. If he continues the same form then he would add more records to his name.

In today's match, he scored a superb century and became the first batter to score three centuries in the debut World Cup tournament. No other batsman in the 48-year-old history of the World Cup had scored three centuries in the first tournament.

Rachin Ravindra also broke the record held by Sachin Tendulkar who scored two centuries before 25. Now Rachin broke this and set up a new record by scoring three centuries. He also shares the massive record held by Sachin Tendulkar who scored 523 runs in a single edition of the World Cup before turning 25.

Rachin Ravindra also holds the record for the highest number of centuries for a New Zealand player in a single edition. Few New Zealand players scored two centuries in an edition. But the young batsman surpassed them all in his debut World Cup tournament.

In his maiden World Cup, Rachin not only surpassed the veteran players but also is on the verge of setting up a new record. So far he scored 523 runs with a strike rate of 107.39. He averages 74.71 in the ongoing World Cup and he is expected to score more runs in the tournament.
