Bye Bengaluru, Hello Hyderabad: What’s Jagan Doing?

The former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Jaganmohan Reddy has the habit of travelling to his residence in Bengaluru, almost on a weekly basis. He appears to be back on job again, completed his trip to Nellore district and got back to Bengaluru.

Coming to the topic, now, the latest developments are suggesting that Jaganmohan Reddy could potentially be contemplating the area of moving to Hyderabad.

This is due to the fact that his political opponent Chandrababu and another Lokesh had been repeatedly calling Jagan a Bengaluru resident who is doing politics in Andhra Pradesh. This has reached a pretty sharp level now, and there is this growing concern from YCP to undo this image.

In accordance with the latest development, as suggesting that Jagan is considering the idea of moving to Hyderabad and run his political operations from here.

Jagan already has a super luxurious house in Banjara Hills, and he was operating from here before the 2014 election as well. He incidentally moved to Tadepalli only before the 2019 election and spent there till 2024. But historically, Jagan has an association with this Banjara Hills house in Hyderabad.

While this might be just a speculation about Jagan moving to Banjara Hills, it has to be seen what kind of reaction this would have within the YCP camps. What is for certain is that Jagan will be a lot more accessible to YCP leaders in Hyderabad as a large portion of Andhra politicians live here.
