Jagan's New Year Gift To Beneficiaries On His Birthday!

Today is the birthday of YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is the current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Party supporters and followers are celebrating the occasion in a big way. Flexes are set up across the state by the followers. Wishes are pouring in for the CM.

In what could be a birthday treat for the beneficiaries, the amount they would get under the YSR Aasara scheme was increased by 250 rupees. The new change in the beneficiary amount would be applicable from the 1st of January.

The Andhra Pradesh government said that the amount given to the beneficiaries under the YSR Aasara scheme would be increased to Rs 3000 from the existing Rs 2.750. The change in the amount would come into effect from the 1st of January.

Earlier this month, the Cabinet under the chairmanship of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met for a crucial meeting and a few decisions were taken. Enhancing the Pension amount under the YSR Aasara scheme is one of the decisions.

Now the same was announced on YS Jagan’s birthday and the change would come into effect from next month. When everyone celebrates New Year, the beneficiaries of the scheme would get a round figure of Rs 3000 in their accounts.

Increasing the amount of various schemes including the pension the beneficiaries get was one of the big promises Jagan made during the campaign. He has been implementing it in a phased manner. Following the same, the pension amount was increased to Rs 3000.
