YCP Repeats TDP In Opposition, Raises Slogans Before Governor!

All eyes are on Monday as today marks the Assembly sessions. The much-awaited sessions commenced today. Following the tradition, the Governor addressed the house. Talking about the Public Representatives, Governor Justice Abdul Nazeer said that they should work hard for the state's development. The Assembly sessions started on a heated note.

The YSRCP leaders including YS Jagan wore black shawls in a bid to protest. While the Governor was addressing the House. The YCP leaders raised "End Murder Politics... Save Democracy" slogan in the House.

Jagan and the Police had a heated argument outside the house and the YCP leader wore black scarves and held placards. What the YCP did caught everyone’s attention as today is the starting day of the Assembly sessions.

It is known that YCP has been alleging that law and order is not in place in the state with murders and other incidents and even sought the Governor’s intervention in this. The other day the former Chief Minister met the Governor to highlight the ongoing tense scenes in the state.

What the YCP did in the House when the Governor was addressing the House can be compared to what the TDP did. During the Budget sessions when the YCP was in power, TDP raised slogans. They alleged that the Constitutional systems failed and put the blame on the then Government and Governor.

They raised Governor Go Back slogans and tore the budget copies. They made a failed attempt to have a sit-in protest inside the lobby. The leaders said that the party leaders and supporters have been attacked in the last three years and many incidents have happened.

Cut to 2024 the tables have turned around and YCP is protesting alleging that democracy is in danger and law and order should be restored. They too raised slogans trying to create obstacles when the Governor was addressing the House.

This is the beauty of democracy and power is not permanent and they can fight for their rights. But people say that creating obstacles when the Governor is addressing the House is not appreciable and it would have been avoided.
