The ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine might have slowed down a bit compared to the initial days. But the intensity is still intact. Other conflicts like Israel Vs Hamas have dominated the news with the Russia-Ukraine war getting sidelined. When the Russian forces were aggressive in the initial days the Nuclear plant grabbed everyone’s attention.

There is a big reason behind this. Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant which is in Ukraine was captured by the Russian forces. The Nuclear Plant is one of the largest Nuclear plants in Europe. The same plant is in the news due to the fire at the plant.

As per the media reports, there was a massive fire at the Nuclear Plant. There was a big fire followed by thick smoke. Thankfully no unwanted scenes took place as the fire was extinguished reportedly.

On the other hand, there was no Nuclear leak either. It is said that despite the fire triggered by the damage to a cooling tower, there was no leakage of any gas. This is the only relief in the wake of the disaster.

As the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant is one of the largest plants in Europe, if anything happens then the impact would be massive. Thankfully there was no leakage.

The massive impact started a blame game between Russia and Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy reportedly accused Russia of this and alleged that it was Russia that had put the plant on fire. Russia is hitting back at the allegations and said that Ukraine is behind the attack.

Looking at the contrasting versions of Russia and Ukraine as both nations blamed each other, many have the doubt of who should be blamed for this and who is behind this.

Media reports say that the intergovernmental organization International Atomic Energy Agency(IAEA) said there were a few explosions followed by thick smoke at the Nuclear Plant.
