BJP's clever mind-game kills three birds in one shot

It now clearly appears that the BJP has played a clever mind-game and ensured that all the village volunteers stay with the YSRCP. With the one-and-a-half lakh strong grassroots level workers firmly back in the YSRCP kitty, the party is sitting pretty. So, the BJP has killed three birds in one stroke. The village volunteers were originally chosen from the YSRCP support base. But over the years, many became either disillusioned with the YSRCP or became worried about their future. So, several village volunteers began gradually drifting away from the ruling YSRCP.

The local YSRCP leaders too were unhappy at the village volunteers drifting away as they were being used by YS Jagan to marginalize the elected leaders and local party functionaries.

But, the BJP made its ally Pawan Kalyan talk about the village volunteers. Pawan targeted them during his Varahi Yatra. This not only incensed the village volunteers, but also united them. Meanwhile, the ruling YSRCP strongly defended the village volunteers.

Thus, through Pawan Kalyan's utterances, the BJP helped the YSRCP by bringing all the village volunteers close to the YSRCP. This clever mind-game made Pawan Kalyan immediately popular in the state and also brought the volunteers and the YSRCP closer. At the same time, the BJP dashed the hopes of Chandrababu in making a political comeback.
